Daytrips - Bivouacking

Having embarked at Chateau de Bourdeau, you’ll paddle alongside the rugged shores of this lake, known as the largest lake in France. Surrounded by the “Bauges” mountain range on one side, and the “Mont de la Charvaz” on the other side, you can enjoy a peaceful picnic near the “Abbaye de Hautecombe”, an impressive historical site, only to finish this beautiful trip lazily “gliding” back towards the port of Chatillon.

The Savieres Canal and the River Rhone : Embark at the port of Chatillon, to join the River Rhone via the scenic Canal de Savieres cruising towards Lucey, where your trip will end after 13 Km.
