TOUR DESCRIPTION
Combining HYDROSPEEDING and CANORAFTING during the same day, this programme takes place on the Virgin section of the Isere river in the Tarentaise valley in Savoie, about 1 hour drive from Annecy.
This program is intense and is dedicated to a sporty public having already practiced whitewater activities.
The day starts with the hydrospeeding trip on the Virgin section of the Isere river: the first section is relatively easy (class II/III) to learn the basics, then it speeds up with beautiful class III/IV rapids on the last third of the descent.
In the afternoon, we swap the flippers and the foam board for a paddle and an inflatable canoe! You will follow the same route as in the morning in CANORAFTING; these 2-seaters inflatable boats will help you progress in white water as you will have to steer and propel your boat under the eye of your guide who will follow you with his own kayak.
Note: this program exists in a more sportive version with the hydrospeeding advanced course in the morning and the canorafting advanced course in the afternoon. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information.
To practice hydrospeeding and canorafting, it is mandatory to know to swim.
