TOUR DESCRIPTION
This day takes place in the Tarentaise valley in Savoie, about 1 hour drive from Annecy.
Combining a HYDROSPEEDING trip in the morning with a RAFTING trip in the afternoon, it is the perfect mix to discover whitewater sports and to enjoy a refreshing day!
The day begins with the Virgin Gorges section of the Isere river in HYDROSPEEDING: a pretty easy first section (class II/III) to learn the basics, then beautiful class III/IV rapids on the last third of the descent. Without forgetting the Virgin Gorges section and its overhanging cliffs.
In the afternoon, with 18 kilometers alternating calm sections and class IV rapids, the long Isere rafting trip is a fun section that will delight both beginners and more sporty paddlers.
Note: we propose a more sporty version of this program with the advanced hydrospeeding course in the morning. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more information.
To practise rafting and hydrospeeding, it is mandatory to know how to swim.
