TOUR DESCRIPTION
Whitewater kayaking is a demanding activity that requires a long learning process. Take advantage of our experience to start with the right reflexes and progress with the expert advice of our professional river guides!
Our private lessons are adapted to your requirements and your level of practice: together we will choose the learning plan and the best practice site according to your level.
Between Annecy, Chambery and the Tarentaise valley in Savoie, different sites are available : from the first paddles on flat water (Lake Annecy or Lake Bourget) or the first whitewater sensations on the Cheran or the Fier rivers, to the class IV rapids of the Isere or the Doron de Bozel river, we have the formula that suits you according to your level.
Level I : you are a beginner and have never practised the activity : we propose to meet you on Lake Annecy or Lake Bourget. We will cover the technical basics of the activity: handling the equipment, propulsion and steering of the boat, managing your balance, etc…
Level II: you have already practised kayaking in flat water and wish to be introduced to white water: rivers of Haute-Savoie or Savoie (class I or II) will be your playground to learn the basics of safety and navigation in whitewater: eddy-in, eddy-out, swimming in whitewater, etc…
Level III: you already practice river kayaking regularly or occasionally and you wish to progress rapidly and improve your whitewater technique : our kayaking instructors will be happy to share their experience and take you to discover the numerous rivers in the area (Fier, Chéran, Borne, Dranses, Isère, Doron de Bozel, etc…). You will be able to improve your ferries or eddy-out and learn to scout lines on a class IV rapid.
Possibility to schedule several lessons over a defined period of time (count 3 hours minimum per lesson)
Possibility to bring your own equipment.
