TOUR DESCRIPTION
This day takes place in the Tarentaise valley in Savoie, about 1 hour drive from Annecy.
With RAFTING and CANORAFTING, whitewater is a team sport ! An intense day combining 2 whitewater sports for a sporty public in search of sensations!
The day begins with one of the most beautiful RAFTING trips in the French Alps. 18 kilometerslong, alternating easy sections and nice rapids (class IV), the Whole Isere rafting trip is a fun section that will delight beginners as well as more sporty paddlers.
In the afternoon, we will go down the Virgin Gorges section of the Isere river with CANORAFTING. These 2-seaters inflatable boats will make you progress in white water as you will have to steer and propel your boat under the watchful eye of your guide who will follow you with his own kayak.
Note: we propose a more sportive version with the advanced canorafting trip in the afternoon. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more information.
To practice rafting and canorafting, it is mandatory to know how to swim.
